Welcome to our creative candle making workshops! Join us for hands-on sessions where you’ll craft beautiful candles in sustainably sourced vintage vessels. Using eco-friendly Coco-Soy wax and a variety of unique scents, you can also decorate your creations with our in-store decor options. Feel free to bring your own vessels to transform into candles, and don’t forget to explore our collection of unique candles available for purchase. Let’s spark your creativity together!

You can find us at Milford Shopping Centre, located at 24 Milford Road, Milford, Auckland. If you enter from the car park near Whitcoulls, we are situated one shop down from Chemist Warehouse, across from Life Pharmacy.
About Flame in Vintage:
At Flame in Vintage, we offer a unique opportunity to create your own handcrafted Coco-Soy scented candles. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned candle maker, our workshops are designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for all ages and skill levels.
What We Offer:

Candle Making: Choose from our selection of vintage and sustainably sourced vessels, or bring in your own clean vessel for us to evaluate. If your vessel meets our criteria, we’ll assist you in transforming it into a beautiful, custom candle.

Complete Supplies: We provide all the necessary materials, including wicks, wax, scents, and decorations. You’ll leave with a candle that is uniquely yours, crafted to your preferences.
Workshops:

Date Night Sessions: Enjoy a special evening on Saturdays with our hour-long sessions running from 4 PM to 7 PM. For $30 per person, you each create a medium-sized scented coco-soy wax candle, bring the light(s) of your life,

School Holiday Workshops: Available daily during school holidays from 10 AM to 4 PM, from $12 per candle maker. Make, decorate and take home a mini Coco-Soy wax candle in a vintage vessel, You're also welcome to decorate your own rapping paper! Size upgrades can be selected in-store.

Why coco-soy wax?
Our Coco-Soy candles are crafted from an entirely plant based wax blend, making them a cleaner burning, environmentally conscious choice.
This luxurious soft wax is specially formulated to enhance fragrance throw, allowing beautiful scents to fill your space more effectively.
Thanks to a lower melt point, Coco-Soy candles require less heat to burn - offering a longer lasting, more efficient experience than Soy wax alone.

Our vessels are either sustainably sourced or recycled, ensuring that each one has a unique story and can be transformed into something special. In our store, You’ll notice that much of our storage and display space is also recycled or vintage, reflecting our dedication to eco-conscious practices. Additionally, we use paper boxes and bags for packaging your creations, further minimizing our environmental impact.
